New Portal merchandise is sure to open a portal in my wallet

I apologize for the title joke. But it is true. How am I not supposed to buy a replica Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device? Complete with blue and orange lights I might add. There will only be a limited run of 5,000 of these so act fast.

If you aren't down for such a big investment there are some smaller Portal themed merch to get your hands on. A tiny Wheatly or Turret LED flashlight might be more your speed. Or if you're feeling adventurous you can make your own GLaDOS potato with the Portal 2 PotatOS Science Kit. In the middle of writing this I pre-ordered the Portal gun, I have no self control.

The Turtles are back in new action figure line

Almost a year ago I posted about a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles revival on Nickelodeon coming in 2012. The pizza powered foursome won't be back on your TV until the fall but what is a good kid's show without some toy tie-ins?

MTV Geek has first look at some of these pretty rad figures. The Turtles are stylized in a really cool way with some exaggerated features. I really like the overall affect of them. Michelangelo even has a real chain link for his nunchucks! Hit up the link below to see more shots of the Turtles and some pics of their accessories.

'The Lord of the Rings' LEGO are coming this summer

Frodo and the rest of the Fellowship will be joining the ranks of Star Wars, Toy Story, Harry Potter and others as The Lord of the Rings is getting its own line of LEGO.

Right now only some of the character designs have been shown but playsets will be coming this summer and even sets for The Hobbit will be coming closer to the film's release. Considering some of the massive sets LEGO has created for Star Wars, like the Death Star and Star Destroyer, it is realistic to envision a giant Mordor or Gondor play set. Pretty cool stuff.

Toy Story Cosbabies

I really don't know where the "cosbabies" design stems from. Apparently there are many characters from Marvel, DC, etc.. This specific line is for Toy Story 3 and includes Buzz, Woody, Rex, Evil Dr. Porkchop, Cowboy Alien and Spaceman Alien. I actually am not too much of a fan of Buzz or Woody but Rex is absolutely adorable. These guys stand at about 3 inches tall and you can pre-order them now for $9.99 here.

More Disney/Pixar Pop! figures incoming

I admit, I'm mildly obsessed with these Pop! figures by Funko. They are an adorable take on some classic characters. I posted before about the series 2 coming to stores. Series 3 is set to hit in January 2012. This new set includes Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Elastigirl, Edna Mode, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Toy Story Alien, Zurg, Ursula, Ariel, Donald Duck and Winnie The Pooh.

These guys are only available at Disney Stores or on Disney's online store and retail there for $12.50. In my experience the popular figures sell out relatively quick so don't hesitate if you're a crazy person like I am. Check after the break for pictures of the full series of figures.
