Toy Story Cosbabies

I really don't know where the "cosbabies" design stems from. Apparently there are many characters from Marvel, DC, etc.. This specific line is for Toy Story 3 and includes Buzz, Woody, Rex, Evil Dr. Porkchop, Cowboy Alien and Spaceman Alien. I actually am not too much of a fan of Buzz or Woody but Rex is absolutely adorable. These guys stand at about 3 inches tall and you can pre-order them now for $9.99 here.

Watch a clip from the Toy Story short "Small Fry"

The other day I posted about the first images from this short that will premiere in front of The Muppets on November 23rd. Today you can see the first short clip featuring Jane Lynch's character welcoming Buzz Lightyear to the Fun Meal toy support group. Also includes a T-bone steak that is also a Transformer. Enjoy.

First look at the 'Toy Story' short 'Small Fry'

When the Muppets hits theaters on November 23rd you are in store for another treat before the film even starts. There will be a Pixar short film starring the Toy Story cast called Small Fry.

In the short film Buzz Lightyear has switched places with a miniature version of himself from a child's fast food meal. Buzz gets stuck in a support group for these often abandon fast food toys who is lead by actress Jane Lynch. I have yet to see the short attached to Cars 2 but I am eagerly awaiting this one. The short is 7 minutes long and directed by Angus MacLane who also directed the Burn-E short on the Wall-E DVD.

More Disney/Pixar Pop! figures incoming

I admit, I'm mildly obsessed with these Pop! figures by Funko. They are an adorable take on some classic characters. I posted before about the series 2 coming to stores. Series 3 is set to hit in January 2012. This new set includes Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Elastigirl, Edna Mode, Mad Hatter, Cheshire Cat, Toy Story Alien, Zurg, Ursula, Ariel, Donald Duck and Winnie The Pooh.

These guys are only available at Disney Stores or on Disney's online store and retail there for $12.50. In my experience the popular figures sell out relatively quick so don't hesitate if you're a crazy person like I am. Check after the break for pictures of the full series of figures.

Pixar characters get 'Popped' in new toy line

I wasn't aware of these toys before but thanks to the Pixar Talk blog I'm fully acquainted. Funko, makers of assorted bobble heads have created a super adorable line of vinyl toys. Measuring up 4" tall these wide-eyed designs cover a lot of brands from Star Wars to Marvel.

Series 2 of their Disney line includes some Pixar favorites. Boo and George Sanderson from Monsters Inc., Lotso and Jessie from Toy Story and Mr. Incredible and Syndrome from the Incredibles will be appearing in series 2 set to hit shelves this August. The figures will only be available through Disney however. So, you'll have to be lucky enough to have a Disney theme park or store nearby or order through Disney.com (which is currently down).

Series 2 also features other Disney stars like Belle and the Beast. Series 1 is currently available and features more characters from Toy Story, Monsters Inc. and Mickey Mouse. Not sure how they'll pull it off but I'm hoping for a Wall-E figure sooner than later.
