We have a pretty nice mix of new items in this week's Toy Tuesday. First is your chance to get your hands on one of those awesome Portal gun replicas, a Game of Thrones statue you might have to be a Lannister to afford, some news about Django Unchained figures, an affordable Captain America figure, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit is getting some new merch at Disney and guess what, even more Game of Thrones!

These adorable 3-inch tall figures come from NECA, makers of the life-size replica Portal gun. The mini turrets will come in the classic white, Bullseye, zebra camo, sunburst, leopard camo, 'table', forest camo, sky camo, desert camo and hot rod paint jobs.
Unfortunately they will come in "blind boxes" meaning the boxes are sealed and there is no way to know which paint job you'll buy until you pay for it. These start shipping October 17th.

I apologize for the title joke. But it is true. How am I not supposed to buy a replica Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device? Complete with blue and orange lights I might add. There will only be a limited run of 5,000 of these so act fast.
If you aren't down for such a big investment there are some smaller Portal themed merch to get your hands on. A tiny Wheatly or Turret LED flashlight might be more your speed. Or if you're feeling adventurous you can make your own GLaDOS potato with the Portal 2 PotatOS Science Kit. In the middle of writing this I pre-ordered the Portal gun, I have no self control.

Portal 2's score was one of the regrettable things I left out my my review of the game. I'm not talking about Jonathan Coulton's new end song or 'Cara Mia', which sadly are not included. Rather the score that accompanies you, hurling, bouncing, speeding and falling through portals.
The score of Portal 2 really suits the game with gritty, technology inspired tones. This will accompany The Social Network score for me, as a soundtrack to occupy my ears while focusing on other things, like writing this post. However you intend to enjoy it, go get the Portal 2 soundtrack volume 1 now for the low, low price of free. While you're there you can also get some ringtones for your iPhone or android device. By titling this 'volume 1' I hope that volume 2 is not far behind.

Wed, April 27, 2011 Decided I would drive around aimlessly and talk about Portal 2. Enjoy, or don't.
