Google Releases Official Google Maps App for iPhone

Ever since Apple unexpectedly ditched Google's maps API in favor of their own, iOS 6 users have been impatiently waiting for a Google replacement. Today is that day and Google has released their own client which restores the invaluable Google Maps data and more importantly for me, Street View.

The app is free and available right now in the iTunes store.

Google Chrome comes to iPhone and iPad

The third party browser space on iOS hasn't been all that exciting. There have been some interesting and clever additions to the space but nothing I could see myself using on a daily basis. Today that changed with Chrome on iPhone and iPad.

Google has released their popular browser to iOS with a very compelling first edition. If you sign in with your Google account to all instances of Chrome you use you can sync your open tabs and all your bookmarks. The navigation is simple and clean in typical google fashion. It takes a bit of getting used to but after a while it becomes very easy. You can download Chrome for iPad and iPhone right now.

Pocket Planes is a bit more complex than Tiny Tower and I'm really not liking how long it takes to grind through to unlock new things but it is still addicting, I'm just not sure for how long. Read on to watch the video.
