Nintendo officially reveals Pikmin 3 for Wii U

It has been an entire console generation since the last Pikmin game and today made the new entry official.

Miyamoto took the stage and introduced his new game including new pikmin types and new characters. Four players are now possible with all new characters.

The game looks gorgeous. We don't get enough of this close look at nature in games and Pikmin certainly looks like it will take advantage of the added horsepower of Wii U.
