DC reveals new brand identity

DC Comics, you know, those guys who do Batman and stuff, they are now DC Entertainment. Not only have they changed the name they have also changed their logo which is really why I'm making this post.

I did say on Twitter that I am not a fan of this logo. Let me clarify. I actually do really like this logo, just not for DC. For some other company out there this would be perfectly fine but the most recent DC logo is just so good. Especially their newish graphic played before DC Comics movies. I don't have any allegiances toward Marvel or DC, I just know a brand screw up when I see one. What do you think of this change? See more takes on the logo at DC's site.
